Day 2

Transfer by bus from your hotel to Magenta domestic Airport.
Meet at Magenta Domestic Airport. Check in is required 1 hour before flight departure, with your flight ticket and passport to hand.

Flight: Noumea – Ouvea with domestic company Air Caledonie

When you arrive in Ouvea: transfer by minibus to the Paradis d’Ouvea Hotel

Ouvea, the northernmost island of Loyalty Islands,

Ouvea is protected by a large lagoon on the west coast and has an amzingly beautiful  25 km white sandy beach. It extends to the North and South by a group of islets called “les Pleiades”. Ouvea is nicknamed “Paradise Island” because of its wonderfully gentle pace of life and its heavenly landscapes. Ouvea, where there is no pollution, earns its living from fishing, producing coconut oil, and tourism. You will receive a unique welcome in Ouvea. There is only one road winding along the coast from North to South. 4300 inhabitants from Mare live on the island which is divided into three districts: Saint-Joseph, Fayaoue and Mouli.

Day 3

Excursion by boat to « South Pleiades » – full day trip – minimum 2 people

The atoll is closed on its west side by several islets and sand banks: these are called the Pleiades. From Mouli, you will go to discover the ‘South Pleiades’ and without any doubt you will be charmed by this dream setting. You will sail to the Angemeec Islet, the 4th Islet of South Pleaides where you can enjoy lunch and relax in this idyllic setting.

Day 4

Lifou is the largest of the Loyalty Islands and indeed offers many beautiful places to visit and enjoy – empty white sandy beaches, impressive caves and cliffs as well as its famous vanilla plantations – all your senses will be awakened during your stay! Around 10 000 people live in Lifou, which is spread over the three ‘tribal custom’ districts – Wetr, Lösi et Gaïca. Wé, is the most populated area of the island and is also the administrative and economic centre of the Island. It is the main Loyalty Island. You will be delighted by your stay in Lifou – both by the local hospitality and its natural beauty.

When you arrive in Mare: transfer by minibus to Nengone Village Hotel.

MARE is called ‘Nengone’ in the local language and is the wildest, highest and most mysterious of the three Loyalty Islands.

Its untamed beauty is made up of rocky cliffs, secret creeks and beautiful, long, white sandy beaches. Mare has a rich history with many legends which are often linked to its rugged and colourful landscapes. Today Mare is a quiet unspoilt island, renowned for its tranquil beauty, its hospitality and its fruit and vegetables, especially its avocados, which have a special festival dedicated to them every year!

Day 7

Guided half day tour to discover splendors of the wildest of the Loyalty Islands – Mare:

• Pede bay : this small inlet nestled on the rocks is an ideal spot to snorkel
• Natural aquarium: admire the sea water flowing through corals and all the beautiful fish that shelter here.  A real mini-lagoon surrounded by vegetation. (No swimming advised).
• Vanilla plantation in Hnawayac or Tenane: discover how this particular orchid grows and taste coffee or tea flavored with vanilla!
• Roh : historic monument dedicated to the arrival of the gospel on the island
• Bone Hole: a 40 meter deep vertical cave hollowed out in the limestone rocks.
• The cultural center and village of La Roche
• Warrior’s leap: a legend recounts that a warrior, harassed by enemies, leapt across this gaping 5 meter-wide crevice in the cliff.
• Patho & Kurine beaches : 7 km of large deserted beaches
• Pethoen cave: walk along a small path through the forest where a pure water cave is hidden covered by stalactites.
• Wonderful Eni, Wabao & Yedjele beaches.
